Digg took down post of Kevin Rose wearing Hitler mustache?

So I was visiting the digg front page and noticed a post of Kevin Rose (digg founder) wearing a Hitler mustache. I then refresh the page about 5 minutes later and see that the post has vanished.
Digg gets a lot of criticism for the “cover ups” that they do sometimes. They got a ton of [...]

N#@*A ATE MY BRAINS!

Last night I came across a website with the above ad and I was laughing out loud yet shocked all at once.
Considering that it’s a google ad, I’m extremely surprised that this is for real. Either google has loosened up a bit or this slipped through its radar. Either way, it’s still hilarious. And NO, [...]

Dreamhost (and status) down.

What’s worse than having your website and email down? Having your hosting provider be down too! They above image is from http://www.dreamhoststatus.com. So much for a status report.
While I wouldn’t say that DreamHost is the #1 hosting provider, it does offer a good service and the price isn’t terrible. An occasional hiccup in servers is [...]

Any Web Browser > Internet Explorer

I design and code websites for the many projects I have. Websites obviously run on web browsers. Web browsers vary from company to company. If your on a Windows machine, about 80% of you use Internet Explorer 6 or 7 by Microsoft. If your a bit more savvy you probably use Firefox. And if [...]

Technorati acting up?

I just went on Technorati.com and was shocked when I saw EnragedAmigos as the number 1 blog on the site. Now as much as I love this blog and as much as I would like for everyone to make this blog number 1, I realize that’s a far fetched thought (but we’ll keep trying).
So as [...]

Pownce or Bounce?

So the master mind behind Digg.com, Mr. Kevin Rose, launched another Web 2.0 venture: Pownce. It was long rumored that he was working on “something”. Well turns out that “something” was Pownce. Lets make it clear that it’s not just this dude, there are other people behind Pownce as well. I assure you he didn’t [...]

Using Google as your music provider

We all know that Google lurks every corner of the internet then serves it up for our searching pleasure. But did you know that deep within the confines of internet are bunch of Web server indexes with some quality music waiting to be downloaded? Let me show you how to get it done..
1. Go to [...]

Mod the comment

So lately I been dealing with the moderation the comments that seem to be pouring in regarding Tony’s 360 /PS3 debate. Not that I have anything against doing that, truth be told I like doing it because it shows that people care about what we post around here..
The only issue that I have is [...]

Webestate

I have always considered domain names (whatever.com or whoever.net) to be the web equivalent of real estate properties. Hence the reason I lovingly call them webestates. I’ve always seen them as a potential means of making lots of money.
As confirmation of this, yesterday I came across this older article from usatoday.com that confirms just that. [...]
