Dreamhost (and status) down.
What’s worse than having your website and email down? Having your hosting provider be down too! They above image is from http://www.dreamhoststatus.com. So much for a status report.
While I wouldn’t say that DreamHost is the #1 hosting provider, it does offer a good service and the price isn’t terrible. An occasional hiccup in servers is expected every once in a while so I’m not too concerned at the moment but we’ll see how things play out. MediaTemple (MT) is my next hosting provider should DreamHost keep acting up, but that’s still far and away.
DREAMHOST… GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER!
