NSA wiretapping to be legalized this week UNLESS YOU DO SOMETHING
I was reading this article from boingboing.net and was shocked that wiretapping could be legalized. I don’t know what you all think out there, but there’s some messed up stuff happening in the U.S. government since G. W. Bush came into power. We seem to be losing our rights little by little. This is NOT OK!
Are people in the United States really paying attention to what’s going on in their own backyard? In case your not aware the U.S. isn’t what it used to be and while another 9/11 needs to be prevented, there are other ways to do this. Don’t sit back while this country rots from within, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
And yes, BY THE WAY if you’re using AT&T (and this now means even the former wireless carrier Cingular) it’s already happening to you! On June 27, 2006 AT&T issued this statement saying “the law does not permit” comment on the NSA allegations: “What we can say is AT&T is fully committed to protecting our customers’ privacy and would not provide customer information to any government agency except as specifically authorized under the law.” Go to this aritcle for more information on AT&T and the NSA.

Also, how did Clinton get put on trial and nearly impeached for getting a blowjob yet Bush can lie, lie, and lie some more and cause NOTHING but trouble for this nation while having an approval rating of a current 25% (and dropping) AND NOT BE PUT ON TRIAL AND IMPEACHED. I thought this guy was going to be an OK president, but apparently he’s not doing a very good job at all.
