Using Google as your music provider
We all know that Google lurks every corner of the internet then serves it up for our searching pleasure. But did you know that deep within the confines of internet are bunch of Web server indexes with some quality music waiting to be downloaded? Let me show you how to get it done..
1. Go to www.google.com
2. On the search text field put in the following line:
- intitle:”index.of” (mp3|mp4)your.search -html -htm -php -asp -cf -jsp
3. Hit Search.
4. Profit!
Note: you must replace your.search with what you want obviously. No spaces - they must get replaced by a period. For example: Counting Crows becomes Counting.Crows
The method is pretty hit and miss at times, I admit. Try searching by artist name, or album name and see what you get. I have gotten some good stuff out of Google this way. Example search.
