Listened to only once..
As our music libraries have increased in size over time we have found ourselves enjoying less new music believe it or not. At least that’s how it goes with me…
HavingĀ 2232 songs to choose from I have found myself skipping many tunes just to get to the “faves” or whatever my ear has gotten used to hearing by now. This hopping around my library has caused many tracks to be never played, leaving some good stuff undiscovered.
So the other day I created a small Smart Playlist in iTunes to take care of this problem. Tweaking aroundĀ with the rules for a while I found a set that gives me what I wanted more or less. So here it goes:
- Play Count is less than 1
- Size is less than 30 MB (to filter out those 700 mb one file CDs)
- Genre is not TV Shows
- Genre is not Podcast
- Genre is not Movies
With those rules in place I get a good selection of tunes that I have looked over or never gave a complete listen to for X reason. Good way to re-discover your music library, I must say..
