I know this is a VERY strange topic to touch on, but I’m going for it anyway. I just read an article where a woman had sex with her brother since she was 14 (he was a year older). Personally I don’t have a brother or sister so I can’t really judge this situation, however I do think that while society frowns on this notion it seems hard to believe that this isn’t a common thing. It’s tough to be young and have strong desires and not have a way to experiment, if both parties of similar age are okay with it and take proper contraceptive caution then who says it’s right or wrong?
I appreciate the honesty and frankness of the person telling the story. Considering this is more taboo than homosexuality and probably looked on as equal to pedophilia in our society, it takes immense courage to come out with this story and tell the world.
Trust me, I’ve been around long enough on the internet and I know when somethings going to become viral. This video is going to become viral. Maybe not as much as the Rick Roll or Bill O’Reillys, but still, pretty viral.
Watch this throwback to the late 70’s/early 80’s video and enjoy!
When I heard George Carlin died on Sunday my heart just dropped. You see, George Carlin was the first comedian to make me laugh out loud, really think about life, and shock me so much to alter my mentality on many things in life. I think I first heard of George when I was 15 or 16, I saw the HBO special ‘You’re all diseased’ and was in love with his style, his skill, and him. He pushed the boundaries so far that I was in such unfamiliar territory with his “There is no God” act in his special that I remember feeling that God WAS going to strike him.
I didn’t post about this sooner because I was actually grieving a bit. I’m sad I never had the opportunity to meet the man. There were always two people I wanted to do off the top of my head: George Carlin and Adam Duritz. I saw the Counting Crows live once for my birthday, and George I regret never having met or seen.
George has made me laugh a million times and I try to quote him as much as I can. He was a true pioneer and the single most influential comedian in my humble opinion. I grieved more about George than I have about other people I have met that had passed away. I guess I had more of a connection with George whom I never met. I will miss him.
Lucky guy. The above is a video of a guy who saw the new Playstation 3 bundle which includes the new Metal Gear Solid game at Wal-Mart and obviously bought it. This game and bundle isn’t going to be released until June 12, so he got about a 5 day jump on everybody else.
Personally, I didn’t play MGS 1 or 2. I did however play MGS 3 rather recently (maybe 5 months ago), and wow, it is one of the most immersive and well developed games I have EVER played or seen. The attention to detail is incredible. I was playing MGS 3 and kept thinking that it was so much better than current “next-gen” games. The character movements, the scripting, and even the graphics at certain parts were pure gold. Considering it’s quite a number of years old is a testament to the quality of the product. So saying that I’m excited for MGS 4 is an understatement, I just hope it lives and surpasses all the hype.
I need to try this! Apparently rolling this fruit on your tongue and then tasting bitter/sour foods and drinks makes the foods taste sweet as candy. These fruits go for about $2 a berry though and apparently perish very easily. I need to find a local nursery, grocery, or anywhere that I can get this from!
Just ran into this article. I always knew people were into different things, I just didn’t know they took it so seriously. Edward Smith (pictured above) has had few relationships with women and is isn’t gay, he just prefers the company of cars (or in one exception, a helicopter) over humans.
While this may seem very strange, Edward admits he is different but says that as long as he’s not hurting anyone it shouldn’t matter. I agree with him. Let him do whatever makes him happy as long as it doesn’t interfere with anyone else. You have to agree you’d rather have a car “loving” neighbor than some other people you might know.
I first saw this site a couple of months ago but never decided to take the quiz. I decided to do so today after browsing through the web and again stumbling on this page.
I quickly filled out all the information required and got my result. Thirty-one kids I can vanquish. I have a feeling in my gut that I could take on more, but having been in fights before the power of numbers can be quickly overwhelming.
At the very least go and have a chuckle at some of the questions or the awesome silhouette of the man facing the line of charging kids.
This video is a bit long but pretty funny. Personally, I don’t find prank calls to be funny at all, but this is an exception so I thought I’d share it with you all. Enjoy.
I was browsing the Cristiano Ronaldo free-kick against Portsmouth earlier this year when I saw this video game capture of a player which apparently died in the Fifa. These kind of video game bugs crack me up. I remember Sebaz and I (Sebaz has apparently abandoned this blog) used to play NFL Blitz 2002 (or 2003) and crack up at some of the replays looking like I punched him out or vice versa. Ah, the memories.
I posted a while ago a fix for some EA Sports Demos not having any sound on the PS3. Now I present to you the way that I fixed the freezing issue for my copy of GTA IV on the PS3.
When I first started playing the game on Wednesday, I noticed the game froze but shortly unfroze twice (the length of time was about 30-60 seconds). Everything was well after that up until last night (Friday) when I decided to see what the Multiplayer feature on the cell phone had to offer. Soon after the tutorial began it froze, but this time it was really frozen. I waited about 5-10 minutes before giving up and manually restarting the PS3. I looked online and saw a 12-Step Guide on Gamespot by Take-Two on how to possibly fix the problem.
I noticed two things with the guide… Numero Uno, 12-STEPS??? Numero Dos, DELETE SAVED GAME FILES??? Not to mention all the features that needed to be turned off or lowered such as graphics and the rumble on controllers (not that I have one, but still).
So I did some more research and noticed people that had tried the Multiplayer feature were just then having the problems. So I decided to look for a file in the PS3, below are the steps to remove the Multiplayer Profile for GTA IV and (in my case) unfreeze your game WITHOUT deleting any game or save data or anything else!
1. Start Your PS3.
2. Navigate along the cross media bar until you reach the ‘Game’ tab.
3. Scroll up or down the list until you reach the ‘Save Data Utility’ and press ‘X’ to enter.
4. Locate the GTA IV file with the name ‘Profile’ on it.
5. Highlight this and press triangle once, and from the menu select Delete.
That’s it! In my case, deleting the profile for GTA IV (which relates to the Multiplayer aspect) fixed the freezing and so far after playing a couple of hours I have not had a single issue. This might work for the xbox 360 as well, but since I don’t own one (nor do I know if game files are accessible) I can’t confirm.
Feel free to comment if this worked or didn’t work for you!
UPDATE: I am using the 60GB version of the Playstation 3 purchased in August of 2007.
NOTE: REMEMBER! This is just a temporary fix/hack, Rockstar/Take-Two need to patch this up so that I can try the multiplayer!
